Austin Ekeler: With Brian Robinson out with a leg injury, Ekeler will likely be the Commanders’ primary running back Sunday at the Giants.
Robinson hasn’t been able to practise much this week due to a hamstring injury and Washington decided to pull him from the game after his pregame warm-up didn’t go as planned. That gives Ekeler a chance to lead the backfield for the second time this season. The first time was in Week 6 at Baltimore, where he posted 68 yards on 13 touches from scrimmage. Jeremy McNichols and Chris Rodriguez will also be in the mix to line up behind Ekeler.
