However, Nicks’ new vision could bring the story back to life, delving deeper into the complex dynamics of the fictional band.

In a recent Rolling Stone interview, Nicks, 76, shared her vision for a potential continuation of the series: “I wish that it could go into what if… had Billy come back after Billy’s wife died and knocked on her door, and they decided to make that last record that I always hoped that Lindsey and I would make.” According to Nicks, both Witherspoon and Keough “loved the idea,” though they’re currently tied up with other projects.

The first season of Daisy Jones & The Six captivated audiences with its parallels to Fleetwood Mac’s rock-and-roll era, and Riley Keough’s portrayal of the Nicks-inspired character Daisy Jones resonated strongly with fans. Nicks, who initially hesitated to watch the show, ultimately found herself moved by its accuracy. “I didn’t even want to see it because I thought I was going to hate it so much,” she admitted, only to find herself captivated. “It was very similar to me,” she said, noting Keough’s “snappier” approach but lauding the similarities between Keough’s Daisy and her own personality.
