One of the hardest-hit areas was a neighborhood close to Oklahoma Heart Hospital, where homes suffered severe structural damage. Many roofs were ripped completely off, and some brick walls were torn apart by the high winds. On 84th Street, power lines came down onto houses, compounding the chaos as residents checked on their neighbors and tried to account for everyone’s safety.
