PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi 18th Installment Date – The much-anticipated moment has arrived for farmers across India as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to release the 18th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana today. This scheme has been instrumental in providing financial support to farmers, helping to alleviate the economic burden they face.

Today, October 5, 2024, marks a significant day for beneficiaries of the PM Kisan scheme. The Prime Minister will be in Washim, Maharashtra, where he will not only disburse the 18th installment but also engage in direct dialogue with farmers during a special event.

What to Expect from the 18th Installment?

The 18th installment will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of eligible farmers through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. This disbursement is expected to benefit over 9.4 crore farmers, with more than ₹20,000 crore being transferred in total.

Who Is Eligible for the 18th Installment?

To qualify for the 18th installment, farmers must have completed several essential tasks under the scheme:

E-KYC Registration: Farmers who have successfully completed their e-KYC will be eligible for the funds today.

Land Verification: Those who have undergone land verification will also qualify for the financial support.

Aadhaar Linking: Additionally, it is crucial that farmers’ Aadhaar numbers are linked to their bank accounts to receive the installment.

    Why This Installment Matters

The PM Kisan scheme has been a lifeline for many farmers, providing them with the financial assistance needed to support their agricultural activities. With each installment, the government aims to ensure that the benefits reach those who need them the most, facilitating growth and stability within the agricultural sector.

As farmers eagerly await the release of the 18th installment, the event in Maharashtra underscores the government’s commitment to supporting the farming community. For ongoing updates and information, beneficiaries can visit the official PM Kisan website
