New Delhi: For citizens who have been waiting for housing facilities for years, the PM Awas Yojana brings new hope. Many individuals have not received permanent homes for various reasons, prompting the central government to reactivate the PM Awas Yojana.
According to the central government’s decision, registrations have been called for permanent housing in all areas where people lack housing facilities. The construction of permanent homes for those whose registrations have been approved is already underway.
Eligible individuals who registered in 2024 are receiving the first financial installment of the PM Awas Yojana directly into their bank accounts. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that this installment would be disbursed from September 15, 2024, to September 25, 2024.
Recently, many locations have already distributed the first installment to the beneficiaries, and those who have not received it can expect the amount in their accounts very soon.
If you have applied for the housing scheme but are unaware of whether you have received the first installment, it is advisable to check your bank account status immediately and verify your application status as well.
This time, under the PM Awas Yojana, individuals deemed eligible for housing will receive up to ₹40,000 as the first installment. This amount will help candidates initiate the construction of their homes. Once they utilize this amount to lay the foundation of their houses, subsequent installments will be transferred to their accounts in due course. A total of four installments will be provided under this scheme.
