AMD Stock: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: AMD) is facing a dramatic 14% drop in stock price, currently trading at $142.44 following the release of its third-quarter earnings report. Despite reporting revenue of $6.8 billion, surpassing analyst expectations of $6.71 billion, the stock is reacting negatively to a significant downturn in the gaming segment.

The driving force behind AMD’s robust overall performance was its data center segment, which surged 122% to $3.5 billion, fueled by high demand for EPYC and Instinct products. The client segment also saw a positive trend, with revenue increasing by 29% to $1.9 billion.
