Chicago: Heartbreaking news for fans of the popular children’s YouTuber Danny Go! as Daniel Coleman announces the death of his 14-year-old son, Isaac.
The beloved entertainer shared the sad update on Instagram Friday, revealing that Isaac Daniel Coleman passed away on Thursday, May 21, after a courageous fight with aggressive cancer.
“Oh my sweet boy. There’s so much I want to say, but I don’t know how yet,” Coleman wrote in an emotional tribute, alongside touching photos of his son. “I already miss you so much, and the pain in my heart is far more than I can process.”
Isaac was diagnosed with stage 3 mouth cancer in December 2025, a condition linked to Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that significantly raises cancer risk. Despite undergoing surgery and later palliative care, the cancer spread quickly in recent months.
In April, Coleman had shared that the family shifted to a comfort-focused approach with hospice support, prioritizing Isaac’s quality of life during his final weeks.
Fans of Danny Go! know Coleman for his high-energy dance videos that bring joy to millions of children worldwide. He has over 4.7 million YouTube subscribers and recently canceled tour dates to focus on his family.
In his farewell message, the grieving father highlighted Isaac’s remarkable spirit: “Your 14 years were full of so many challenges, but you met them all with such grit…and you somehow kept your trademark joy in spite of it all.”
Coleman and his wife Mindy are also parents to younger son Levi. The family has asked for privacy as they navigate this profound loss.
This tragedy has touched hearts across the parenting and education communities, with many sending love and support to the Danny Go! star during this difficult time.
