BMW 450 GS booking has officially begun in India, with select BMW Motorrad dealerships now accepting unofficial pre-orders for the upcoming BMW F 450 GS adventure motorcycle. The booking amount varies between Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 50,000, depending on the city and dealership, and is fully refundable.
BMW 450 GS Price in India (Expected)
According to dealership sources, the BMW F 450 GS price in India is expected to start around Rs. 5 lakh (ex-showroom), translating to an on-road price of nearly Rs. 6 lakh. BMW may also introduce an introductory offer below Rs. 5 lakh to build early hype ahead of its official launch, likely scheduled during India Bike Week 2025 in December. Deliveries are expected to begin from January 2026.
The F 450 GS will be locally manufactured in India by TVS, BMW’s long-time production partner, ensuring competitive pricing against upcoming rivals such as the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 and CFMoto 450 MT.
BMW 450 GS Engine and Performance
The BMW F 450 GS is powered by a new 450cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, jointly developed with TVS Motor Company. It generates 48 PS of power and 43–45 Nm of torque, offering strong mid-range performance for both city rides and off-road adventures.
The engine comes paired with BMW’s Quickshifter Pro for clutchless upshifts and downshifts, and the Easy Ride Clutch system—an advanced centrifugal clutch that allows smooth starts without using the lever.
BMW 450 GS Design
The BMW 450 GS design closely follows BMW’s signature adventure styling inspired by the R 1300 GS. The bike sports a sculpted fuel tank, sharply contoured side panels, and a beak-like front fairing. The LED headlamp with X-shaped DRLs and a compact LED tail-light enhance its bold and premium adventure look.
The motorcycle will be available in two striking color options — Cosmic Black and Racing Red.
BMW 450 GS Features
BMW has packed the new 450 GS with top-tier adventure features. Riders get multiple riding modes including Rain, Road, and Enduro, with Enduro Pro mode reserved for higher variants. A 6.5-inch TFT display offers smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and ride telemetry.
Standard equipment includes heated grips, LED lighting, adjustable suspension, and tubeless spoke wheels (19-inch front, 17-inch rear). Suspension duties are handled by KYB units with 180mm travel, ensuring superior off-road comfort.
With BMW F 450 GS bookings now open and the India launch just weeks away, the adventure bike market is about to get more exciting. The combination of power, premium design, and local manufacturing makes it one of the most awaited motorcycles in the mid-size ADV segment.
Stay tuned for the official BMW F 450 GS India launch date, variant details, and final pricing when BMW Motorrad unveils the model in December 2025.
