Monster Hunter Outlanders: Monster Hunter fans have an exciting new experience to look forward to: Capcom and TiMi Studio Group, known for hits like Call of Duty: Mobile and Pokémon Unite, are collaborating on Monster Hunter Outlanders. This mobile spinoff, announced Tuesday, brings an open-world survival RPG set in the beloved Monster Hunter universe to smartphones.

Monster Hunter Outlanders promises a true MonHun adventure, complete with exploration, monster hunting, and gear crafting. Players will have the option to hunt solo or join forces with up to three other players in co-op mode, enjoying the social and live service features that define today’s mobile gaming landscape. TiMi Studio Group producer Dong Huang emphasized, “Monster Hunter Outlanders not only offers an authentic hunting experience but also a massive open world with community-driven elements mobile players crave.”

The game introduces character collection mechanics, drawing comparisons to titles like Genshin Impact. In addition to gathering powerful hunters, players can expect to unlock various adorable pet companions, expanding beyond the franchise’s iconic Palicoes. Capcom’s partnership with TiMi suggests that Monster Hunter Outlanders could be a standout addition, given TiMi’s proven track record in adapting AAA franchises for mobile audiences.

Although no release date has been announced, fans can expect several play tests ahead of the global launch. With Monster Hunter Wilds, the next mainline installment, slated for release in early 2025, Outlanders could offer an engaging way to enjoy the thrill of monster hunting on the go.
