iPhone 14 Plus Rear Camera Issue: Apple has announced a new service program for the iPhone 14 Plus, addressing a rear camera problem that prevents a small percentage of devices from displaying a camera preview. This issue affects iPhone 14 Plus models manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, and represents a rare service program from Apple since the last one in 2021.

Users can determine if their device is affected by entering their serial number on Apple’s website. For those impacted, Apple will provide repairs at no cost, provided the device is undamaged. The service program will cover eligible iPhone 14 Plus models for three years from the original purchase date, allowing customers peace of mind when dealing with this defect. If you’ve previously paid for a camera repair related to this issue, you can also request a refund from Apple.

To facilitate repairs, Apple offers several options: customers can visit an Apple Authorized Service Provider, make an appointment at an Apple Retail Store, or contact Apple Support for mail-in service through the Apple Repair Center. It’s important to note that this program specifically targets iPhone 14 Plus devices; users of the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, or iPhone 14 Pro Max are not eligible for this service.

As Apple continues to refine its customer service efforts, this new program underscores the company’s commitment to addressing product issues and enhancing user experience. For iPhone 14 Plus users facing this camera issue, the new service program represents a timely solution to an unwelcome problem.
